dMAT — Digital Master Test

What this exam is
The dMAT is a study-aptitude test, not a subject exam. It measures how you reason — figure sequences, mathematical equations, Latin squares — and then how you apply your degree in a subject module. APS India requires the General Academic Module, whatever your bachelor's field. Every task is single-choice, in English, on a computer.
From the Summer 2027 intake, Engineering, Commerce/Finance/Economics and Business/Management graduates need a dMAT result inside their APS file — and APS cannot issue your certificate until the score lands. Your certificate carries a 0–200 score, where 100 is the mean, plus a percentile rank. It never expires: one good sitting carries every application you make.
